Therapeutic Art Workshop, May 2024

Bowery’s Therapeutic Art Workshops will run every Tuesday from May 7th- May 28th, at 7:30pm to 9pm, at Bowery Art Collective located at 335 Main Street, Metuchen NJ 08840.

Each corresponding link will take you to the Eventbrite site, with your date already selected, then you click the orange “check out” button and you’re set to finish registering! You are allowed to sign up for as many of the four sessions as you want! However, if you wish to sign up for more than one, you have to checkout separately for each date. We hope to see you there!!

Embark on a transformative journey with us at our exclusive 4-week therapeutic creative workshop! Step into our inviting gallery space, where acceptance and confidentiality reign supreme. Every Tuesday evening, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, immerse yourself in a diverse array of mental health discussions. $30 per session. The first session is free and open to all ages, subsequent sessions will be designated by an age bracket. There are 4 sessions in this series. Under the guidance of GinaMarie Miro, a seasoned Licensed Professional Counselor, and co-led by the talented mentee Messiah Walker, a fine art student at Rutgers Mason Gross with a major in psychology, you'll find a nurturing environment free from judgment. Here, you'll have the opportunity to express your emotions and experiences through art alongside your peers.

Bring along your personal sketchbook to document your creative and emotional evolution throughout the program. Feel free to bring your preferred art supplies, although we'll also provide an abundance of creative materials to spark your imagination.
